SafeWord for Citrix MetaFrame Provides Positive Identification of Users Before Allowing Access to Business Systems

This channel-ready solution enables organizations to easily deploy strong authentication for access to Citrix MetaFrame published applications, eliminating the vulnerabilities of fixed passwords.
Specifically designed for Citrix environments, SafeWord for Citrix MetaFrame is easy to install and manage, and offers a cost-effective security solution for the more than 120,000 organizations and nearly 50 million end users that currently use Citrix products.

SafeWord for Citrix MetaFrame provides strong authentication with tokens that generate new passcodes for every user login. This eliminates the common security threats of passwords being stolen, guessed, hacked or simply written down. Out-of-the-box compatibility with MetaFrame and tight integration with Active Directory provides unprecedented ease-of-management and lower total cost of ownership compared to other strong authentication products.
Because the product utilizes existing user records in Active Directory, there is no need to create redundant user accounts in a separate database, saving administrative time and money. SafeWord for Citrix MetaFrame is completely managed through a plug-in to the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) where tokens are assigned to users and user records are maintained.

SafeWord for Citrix MetaFrame will be available in early May. Simplified pricing combines tokens and software licenses and begins at $99 per user.
