What are the major changes from the AppSense Performance Suite pricing to the new AppSense Management Suite pricing?

There are three main changes.

1. With the launch of Desktop Security AppSense now support a broader range of systems. We have split the price list into two sections for different types of systems:-

• Microsoft Windows Terminal Servers
• Desktop / Laptop Machines

2. AppSense Performance Manager and AppSense Optimizer have now been combined into one product - the new AppSense Performance Manager.

3. AppSense Environment Manager is a new product available on it’s own or as part of the AppSense Management Suite.

How do existing customers upgrade from the AppSense Performance Suite to the AppSense Management Suite?

Customers with a valid software subscription for AppSense Performance Suite are entitled to a free upgrade to the new AppSense Management Suite.

Customers without a valid software subscription for AppSense Performance Suite can migrate to the new AppSense Management
Suite with the purchase of a product upgrade license.

How do existing customers upgrade from AppSense Performance Manager?

AppSense Performance Manager and AppSense Optimizer are now combined into one product with extended functionality.

Customers with a valid software subscription for AppSense Performance Manager are entitled to a free upgrade to the new AppSense Performance Manager.

Customers without a valid software subscription for AppSense Performance Manager can migrate to the new AppSense Performance Manager with the purchase of a Product Version Upgrade License.

How do existing customers upgrade from AppSense Optimizer?

Customers are able to migrate to the new AppSense Performance Manager with the purchase of a Special Offer Product Upgrade. Please contact us for details.

Is the Server Based Tool Kit still available?

The Server Based Tool Kit is only available to customers with existing Server Based Tool Kit installations and will be supplied free of charge on request on a ‘one for one’ basis with all new purchases of the AppSense Management Suite.

Can customers still purchase the AppSense Performance Suite?

Yes. If a customer purchases the AppSense Performance Suite with software subscription they are also entitled to use the AppSense Management Suite. Customers will be sent certificates for both.
